Dollskill Ad Magazine Insert

I designed a magazine print ad insert for my favorite brand.  First, students conducted research on the brand they chose, study their logo and write a report on their brain identity.  I chose one of my favorite clothing brands, Dolls Kill.  Their brand is flashy, expressive, unique, fierce, and unapologetically BAD ASS.  Dolls Kill apparel ranges from goth, punk, rave, boho, cyber, urban, and kawaii.  This brand is definitely for the unconventional, or how they say on their website,
 "for those who have more of the IDGAF attitude".
I had a lot of fun designing a shoe ad for their brand.  The original copy I chose, based on studying their unique copy on their website, was "The Newest Shoez Ur Gonna Need".  My copywriting partner, Ifeoma Okafor, assisted me in rewriting a stronger line for the ad, "Fit For Feet That Lead But Never Follow" (smooth, right?).  I redesigned the graphic and I am very confident and proud with how well the graphic and copy fit well within Dolls Kill's brand identity.​​​​​​​

This is what the design would look like if it were in a real magazine.  P.S. Jayda G is an absolute dime and makes wonderful music, so I gave her some love by mocking up a whole page just to showcase her beauty as well!
